Maintenance Agreements
As your furnace and air conditioner begin to age, it is important to keep up on the maintenance of the system.
By keeping up on the maintenance; it will greatly prolong the life of your systems, avoid costly breakdowns, and keep your systems running efficiently as possible.
For a gas furnace we:
- Clean and check all burners
- Clean and check the pilot
- Check all controls
- Check filters
- Oil all motors
- Check thermostat operation
- Inspect the flue
- Perform a safety check the heat exchanger
- Thoroughly test for carbon monoxide readings not only around the furnace, but in certain areas of the home using the Bacharach Combustion Analyzer. This will show us and you the exact parts per million reading of carbon monoxide in the home
- If we find the readings to be too high, we will discuss options to eliminate the issue
For the air conditioner we:
- Check the condenser
- Check the compressor
- Check the coil
- Check the overall operation
- Check the drain
- Check the motor
- Check the refrigerant charge
- Check thermostat operation
- Check the relays
- Check the breaker
- Check the temperature of the home
- Check the blower
